Obituary of Roberta M. Serosky
Roberta “Bobbi” Snyder Serosky Age 88 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Monday July 26, 2021. Roberta was born on August 18, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA. The family moved to Upstate New York when she was a young child. She was pre-deceased by her parents: Lena Charles and Kent Snyder as well as her brothers Larry Snyder and Richard Charles. She was also preceded in death by her husband Paul A. Serosky on September 17, 2010. She is survived by her children: Janice and Don Berryann, Marie and Robert Stevens, David and Jeri Lyn Serosky, Michael Serosky, and Rebecca Serosky; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law: Thomas and Kathy Charles and her Roberta will be remembered for her love of adventure. She would pack up the camper at a moment’s notice and head out for the many state parks around the region. Roberta also spent many summers at the family cottage on Waneta Lake. When she turned 70, Roberta obtained her deep sea diving certification and would go scuba diving with her daughter Becky around the Finger Lakes and in faraway places such as Venezuela and Honduras. Roberta was a stay-at-home Mom until her children were older and then she was a bus driver for the Horseheads Central School District. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
