Roberta M. Walsh
1942 – 2021
Roberta Myrtle Walsh, wife of the late Glen Walsh of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the age of 79.
Born in Chatham, on June 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Vivian (Taylor) Lockerbie. She was a homemaker and attended St. Andrew’s United Church, Miramichi. She was a member of the U.C.W., the Rae Walls/Rainbow Unit.
Roberta is survived by her daughter, Lynn Walsh of Moncton; two sons: Derrick Walsh (Janet) and Mark Walsh (Monique) all of Rothesay; three grandchildren: Mackenzie, Nicholas and Logan; three sisters: Heather Fowlie (Rick) of Whitby, ON, Frances Fraser (Al) of Miramichi and Ardith LeRiche (David) of Belleville, ON; one brother, Ralph Lockerbie of Miramichi; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Glen Walsh, daughter, Marlene Walsh, sister, Elaine Lockerbie, two brothers: Kenneth and Arthur Lockerbie.
A PUBLIC Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A PUBLIC funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 188 Wellington St., Miramichi on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11 am with Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Please be advised of Government of New Brunswick requirements for mandatory masking in all indoor public spaces, and the requirement to provide proof of FULL vaccination, as well as proof of any medical exemption, and government-issued ID for all those 12 and older upon entry for BOTH visitations and funerals. Please consider the allocation of extra time required to register for services. To ensure this registration process flows smoothly, please have documents ready at the door upon arrival.
