ZWICKER, Richard Samuel – Age 77, Pleasantville, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2021 in North Queen’s Nursing Home, Caledonia where he had been residing. Born in Wileville, he was a son of the late Harold Whitfield and Esther Viola (Wile) Zwicker.
Richard was a hard worker his whole life, starting at a young age of 10 delivering papers and then working as a grocery manager of several stores for a few years, he then moved on to become an insurance agent for London Life and Manulife until he became semi-retired opening his own business of “Richard Zwicker Wood Working” where he took pride in making lawn furniture.
He was also a member of Maritime Bikers Association, and he hosted a woodcarving group in his home for a few years. He loved his family immensely. He was an amazing supportive husband, father, grandfather, man, friend and mentor. His quiet strength, kind soul, and soft tone will always be remembered and treasured. He was a well respected man both professionally and personally. He had a great many special friends that he thought the world of and shared many lasting memories with.

My darling Richard,
If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together,
There’s something you must remember;
You’re braver than you believe,
And stronger than you seem,
And smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is even if we’re apart,
I’ll always be with you.
Dad,
There’s a special kind of feeling
When I think about you, Dad
It’s a pleasure to remember
All the happy times we’ve had.
There’s a special kind of caring
That is meant for you alone
There’s a place somewhere
Within my heart
That only you can own.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Richard
