Richard Norman Seguin

Obituary of Richard Norman Seguin
It is with profound sadness that the family of Richard Seguin announce his passing on June 7, 2021, at the age of 62.
Rick was a very loving and beloved husband of Patricia for 22 years and caring stepfather to Mathew Tremblay (Paula), Nathan Tremblay (Lisa), and Donovan Tremblay (Nada). He was a delighted and loving Papa to Noah, Zoe, Dmitri, Donovan, Dejan, Sofia, and Enzo. Rick is predeceased by his parents Leo (2003) and Vera (1993) Seguin and his brothers Gary (1962) and Wayne (2012). Brother of Randy (Mary Jane), Reg (Penny), Brian (J.J.), Shelley Bolton (Jamie). Brother-in-law of Debra Seguin. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rick spent many years of his life working for General Motors Transmission until the plant closed its doors. He then worked for Stevenson Transport Limited and found great joy in seeing the kids he became acquainted with, who rode the school bus each day.
Rick had many interests including camping, woodworking, and riding his bike. He also had a big soft spot for his dogs. He will be remembered for teasingly cutting his piece of the dessert extra big but always having a special treat for the grandkids.
A heartfelt and sincere thank you to the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital- Metropolitan Campus for their support and care over the past five months.
A private family service will take place on June 10, 2021 with a celebration of life to take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared at www.windsorchapel.com windsor chapel
