Richard Green 2021

RICHARD GREEN – October 29, 1952 – September 6, 2021
No longer in the debilitating pain that he suffered every day for most of his adult life, Richard passed away peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Allan Green (2014) and Dorothy Green (2019) and his sister Janet Green (2010).
Richard is survived by his daughters Tiffany Green (Mike), Jennifer Wise (Brad) and Sarah Green, sisters Carol Eaton, Nancy Green and Beverly Johnson. Grandfather to Alexander, Christopher, Kylen and Maya. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Richard was one of the Founders of the former Cambridge Connect, a Self Help Crisis Telephone hotline for those with Mental Health issues. For many years he was very active in social reform and community development programs, often implementing them or sitting on the Board of Directors. In recent years, until the pain and mobility became an issue, he was the former owner of Greenr Lawn and Landscaping Services serving many in Cambridge.
He will be missed by friends, especially Heather, Linda and John.
Richard was a simple, private man and in keeping with this he has requested there be no funeral service. Cremation entrusted to Tranquility Cremation & Burial Services Inc., Cambridge.
