Obituary of Raymond F. Gleason
Raymond F. Gleason age 78 of Horseheads, NY passed away Thursday June 17, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Raymond was born January 15, 1943 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Frank and Sarah Collins Gleason. Ray served in The United States Marine Corps from 1960 to 1966 and served two tours in Vietnam. Ray loved carpentry and woodworking. He loved spending time with his family and was a friend to all. He also loved spending time with his beloved dog, Brindi. Ray is survived by his wife Jo Anne of 53 plus years. His sons: Steven Grey Gleason (Heather) of Cohocton, NY, and Kevin Ray Gleason (Elissa) of Corning, NY; His daughter, Jodi Lyn Gleason-Fish (Jeffry) of Horseheads, NY; Grandchildren: Tiffany (Luis), Tonya (Eric), Tara, Amanda, Dystany, Summer, Brittney, Kevin, Ashley (Tony), Brooke (Mike), Joseph, Coty (Stephanie), Maddison, Aiden, and Makessa; Great Grandchildren: Stevie, Owen, Shawn, Mikey, Miyah, Liliana, Jacob, Shirley, Lorraine, Skyler, Jaelyn, Anthony, Reign, Teagan, Asher, Landon, Lorelei, Thomas-Luke, Roman, Rarri . A Celebration of Life service will be held at Maranatha Bible Chapel 774 Sing Sing Road Horseheads, NY on Saturday June 26, 2021 at 4 PM with beverage & refreshments to follow. Flowers may be sent to the church or donations can be sent to a charity of your choosing in Ray’s memory. Words of Condolence and Memories may be shared at www.lynchsfuneralhome.com .
