AUSTIN, Raymond Cecil – Precious husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather was received into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday June 14, 2021 at his home. Mr. Raymond Austin of Simcoe in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Bonnie for 53 years. Dear father of Marcia Briscoe and Beth Mansley (Larry). Cherished grandfather of Meagan, Marcel, Grace, Sara, Mitchell and Kevaughn. Great grandfather to Jacob, Olivia and Mya. Brother to Jane Campbell (Ken), Earl, Paul, late Jerry, brother in law to Murray Bouckhuyt (Diane). Raymond will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. Longtime serving member of Bethel Baptist Church and long time member of Local 67 Plumber and Pipe Fitters Union. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe. Raymond’s funeral will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. from Bethel Baptist Church. Pastor Al Feere officiating. Interment at Port Dover Cemetery. With respect to covid 19 rules all visitors are required to register with the funeral home for visitation and funeral service by calling (519-426-1314) or email (ferris@kwic.com). Times are booked in 15 min intervals. Face masks are mandatory. If so desired, donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Mesothelioma Canada Research.
