It is with great sadness the family of Randy Bens announces his passing on Friday, July 23rd, 2021. Randy was taken unexpectedly by a pulmonary embolism caused by deep vein thrombosis. He was 51 years old. Beloved son of Ron and Else Bens and beloved brother and brother-in-law to Marian and Tony Kis. Randy also leaves an extended family of uncles, aunts and cousins from across the country, as well as many friends. Randy was a highly talented and creative individual with an inquisitive intellect. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone out that needed it. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Private family service. The family requests that donations be made to The Ottawa Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
