His Journey’s Just Begun
Don’t think of him as gone away
His journey’s just begun,
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away.
And think of him as living
In the hearts of those he touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And he was loved so much.

It is with deep sadness and heartfelt grief that we say good-bye to a son, brother, friend, and neighbour, Randy Larsen.
Randy loved the great outdoors; he appreciated the quiet serenity of the Yukon and lived most of his adult life there. Randy lived with his loving dog Moe and the two of them shared life in the Yukon together, walking trails, and hanging out. Randy had many good friends and neighbours in the Yukon and shared many good stories about his adventures there. The family is so grateful to Randy’s friends and neighbours for being so kind and caring to Randy. Thank you from the bottom of our hears.
Randy did not care for the big city but would only venture out for important family events and medical procedures. Some relief comes with his death; Randy lived in constant pain suffering every day for much of his later years. His mother, Lillian, albeit very sad about losing her son has been very strong for the family, it was difficult for her to know Randy was suffering but could not help him. We find comfort in knowing that Randy is with our dad, grandmother, aunt Marilyn, and uncle Bill.
Rest in peace Randy and God bless, you will be missed.
