Philip’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of the late Philip Howard Payne announce his passing at his family residence in Trout River, NL, on Friday June 18th, 2021, at the age of 86 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children; Eugene (Dog Max), Paulette (Alfred), Karen (Wayne), Kathy, Margie (Roddie), Vonda (Fred), Stephanie (Floyd), and Michael, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, his brothers; Jack (Wanda), Noel (Edna), Russell, and Gilbert (Shirley), sister-in-law; Margaret.
Philip was predeceased by his wife; Annie Payne, son of Jessie Payne his parents that raised him Henry and Winnie Payne, daughter Effie, infant son, his siblings; Charlie (Judy), Cyril (Shirley), Manium, Lucy (Albert) Eliza ( Doug ), and Violet (Doug), his mother and father-in-law; Dinah and Leslie Brake, his in-laws; Robert (Joyce), Ruby (Don), Mercedes, Dinah (Ben), Russell (Leona), Ned, Albert, Joan (Ale), Leona, Jane, Judy, and Effie.
The family will be receiving family and friends by invitation only at the St. Simon & St. Jude Anglican Church in Trout River, NL, on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021, from 2-4 pm, and 7-9 pm, and under the Covid-19 Regulations there can only be 25 people at the viewing at one time and masks and social distancing are required under the regulations.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021, at 2:00 pm, by invitation only at the St. Simon & St. Jude Anglican Church, in Trout River, NL, with Rev: Coleman officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Anglican Church cemetery, in Trout River, NL.
We know that our grieving families still need to feel the same level of support from you their family, friends, loved ones and community.
