It is with sorrow that the family of Peter (Pietro) Costa announce his passing on February 26th in the month of his 55th birthday, peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, after fighting with grace and dignity against terminal brain cancer.
Peter will be deeply missed by his best friend of nearly 30 years and wife of nearly 24 years Tania, as well as his sons Vincent and Nicolas, his beloved mother Francesca Costa (Calcara), his sister Angela (Joe) Rizzolo and all of his loving extended family, his mother-in-law Ismini Paparis, brother-in-law Peter (Lisa) and sister-in-law Dina (Alex), aunts, uncles, cousins, and his nephews Angelo (Roxanne), Vincent and Alex and nieces Ana and Sofia. Peter was predeceased by his father Vincenzo Costa. He will also be missed by his many dear friends and clients.
Peter graduated from Concordia University in 1989 and enjoyed helping clients in his long career as an investment advisor. He was a trusted friend and held in high regard by his family, friends and clients. Everyone respected who he was and the family and life he built. Peter was passionate about many things, including soccer, biking and travelling and, above all, he was incredibly proud of his sons and loved watching them play hockey, soccer and fencing.
While our loss is profound, we will forever hold the memory of this handsome, witty, supportive, generous and devoted man in our hearts and remember the great life we had together.

The funeral service will be held privately at the Mont-Royal Funeral Complex on Tuesday March 2nd, due to current Covid restrictions.
