Mary Martha “Marty” Perrin (nee Dean), of Hanover and formerly of Caledon, passed away with family by her side at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Friday, November 12th, 2021 in her 75th year. Dear mother of Renee Perrin and her husband Roger. Cherished grandmother of Oliver Wanner, Maximus Wanner, and Benjamin Wanner. Dear sister of Susan Boudreau, Ted Dean and his wife Kim, and David Dean and his wife Dee. Sister-in-law of Donna Dean. Fondly remembered by her nieces: Cindy Dean Fleming and her husband Robin, Morgan Brown and her husband James, Taylor Dean, and Rachel Mitchell; her nephews: CJ Dean and his wife Amanda, Zeke Dean and his wife Kelly, and Greer Dean and his partner Lyndsay. Predeceased by her brothers Bruce Dean, Jack Dean, and Doug Dean. Marty was a loyal and loving Sister, Mother, Nana, and extra special Aunt and Great-Aunt. She was a Pediatric Nurse for 40 years, mainly at Peel Memorial Hospital, in Brampton. Since retired, she was a volunteer with the Hanover and District Hospital Auxiliary.
Celebration of Life:
A come and go Celebration of Life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, November 19th from 2 – 5 p.m.
Proof of vaccination will be required for anyone 12 years and older.
Due to Covid-19 protocols masks are required and social distancing must be respected on Funeral Home property.   1. Although I first met Marty when I was quite young, I’ll never forget how warm and inclusive she was (she was hosting Renee’s wedding shower). She made me feel included and a part of her side of the family. She will be dearly missed and my love and well wishes go out to her family. Her kindness lives on Renee, the glue of our family.
