It is with the deepest sadness, and much love, that the family of “Bernard” Paul Camirand announce his peaceful passing on Saturday, 6th of March, at the age of 94 years. Forever treasured by his beloved wife of 69 years Theresa, children; Brian (Deb), James (Kate), Jennifer (Tineke), sons, Timothy and Joseph both predeceased and daughter-in-law Donalee predeceased, granddaughters; Ashlee (Jason) and Andrea (Bill), and great grandchildren; Ava, Mia, Gianna, and Myles. Fondly remembered by his in-laws and extended family of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth, and eight siblings; Hubert, Victoria, Leah, Thomas, Margaret, Jeanne Eva, Lenard, and his twin sister Bernadette. A dedicated family man, a gifted and enthusiastic sportsman with a marvellous mind and a servant’s heart, Bernard possessed a love of ancestry and local history, and was an active member of his community and church for over sixty years. His unselfish spirit and love of people will live on through all who were privileged to have known him. Memorial donations can be made to the Capreol Food Bank or a charity of your choice. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
