Obituary of Patricia Diane Benn
BENN, Patricia “Pat” Diane – entered into rest at QHC – Belleville General Hospital, on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, at the age of 81. Dear daughter of the late Irene Jones (nee Wheeler). Beloved wife of the late Robert Norman Benn. Cherished mother of Kimberley “Kim” Benn, Belleville, Mike Benn, Belleville and the late Julie Benn-Lafferty. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Mackenzie Benn (Natalie), Jacob Benn (Sophie), Caleb Benn and Leah Lafferty. Pat was predeceased by her siblings, Loreen Robb (late husband Orville), Joy Stapley and Bill Jones (surviving wife Bergie of Victoria, B.C.). Pat will be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be held at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (613-968-2273), on Friday, September 24th, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Wally Mayhew officiating. Inurnment to be held at a later date. Those wishing to attend the visitation and/or service are asked to pre-register by emailing their request to; rsvp@steelefuneralhome.ca or by calling Steele Funeral Home (613-968-2273), between the hours of 9a.m-5p.m. Seating for the service is limited. If desired, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada or KGH-Pediatric Cancer Research, would be appreciated by the family. In memory of Pat, all those that attend are asked to wear something red (her favourite colour).
