Patricia Coughlan Spidle 2021

Obituary
It is with heavy hearts; we announce the peaceful passing of Patti Spidle on September 23,2021 in her 58th year at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Loving wife of 34 years to Jay Spidle. Cherished mother of Shannon Aultman (Rodney) and the late Alex Spidle (Jenna). Devoted grandma of Makkenzie-Rose, Hudson and Mabel. Dear daughter of late Charles and Virginia Coughlan and daughter-in-law of Eileen Spidle. Predeceased by her sister Ginny (Mike Beer). She will be greatly missed by Jay’s siblings and their spouses, nieces and nephews and many friends. Patti’s passion was competitive swimming and her talent took her to many parts of the world. She enjoyed her CFL football rivalry with husband Jay, cheering on her Tiger Cats and attending many games. After retiring and moving from Burlington to Callander, Patti and Jay wintered in Florida and spent their summers poolside at their home with family and friends. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday October 1, 2021, from 11 am to 2pm. Covid-19 restrictions are in place and require the wearing of face masks and social distancing while in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Swimming Canada would be gratefully appreciated. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
