Rakestrow; Norma M. (nee Sear)
peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia, on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021, in her 78th year. Norma, beloved wife of the late Grant Rakestrow and Timothy Rakestrow. Loving mother of Lorri Nash (Brian MacKay), Thomas (Laura predeceased) Rakestrow, Sherri (Bob) Visser and Dawn Rakestrow. Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Kristin, Amanda, Logan, Amber (Kishmar), Michael, Joshua, Terry-James and Mathew and great grandmother of Brett and Kimai. Dear sister of Diane (Predeceased), Lillian, Beverley, Patricia, Judy, Linda & Lorraine. Norma is survived by her nieces, nephews and their families. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia, on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Private Family visitation from 5 – 5:45 pm, and public visitation from 6 – 6:45 pm by appointment only. Due to the current COVID restrictions, attendance is limited and you must RSVP through the Mundell Funeral Home Website or please call (705) 325-2231 to schedule a visitation time.
