Peacefully at
Prince County Hospital on Friday, June 4, 2021, of Noreen Frances
Porter (nee Shreenan) of Middleton and formerly of Vancouver, age 90
years. Born in Kinkora, PEI March 22, 1931. Survived by her Children,
Jeff (Agatha) Porter, Kelowna, BC; Anne Porter, Summerside, PE; Rose
(Fred) McCardle, Middleton, PE; Greg (Jill) Porter, Penticton, BC;
grandchildren, Meagan, Laura and Danny
McCardle, Middleton, PEI and Emily MacKenzie, Vancouver, BC.
Predeceased by her husband, Robert (Bob) Porter; parents, Damien
& Alice (Sherry) Shreenan;
brothers, Joe and Reg Shreenan; sisters, Hilda Weir, Sheila
Boudreau, Audrey Matters and Lucy
Shreenan. Noreen’s family would like to extend
their thanks to Dr. Turner and the ICU Nurses at Prince County
Hospital for the excellent care given to
Noreen.
Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. Funeral Mass to be
celebrated at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora on Tuesday, June
8th at 10:30 am. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family
visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in
Noreen’s memory can be made to the Prince County Hospital
Foundation, PEI or The Door is Open – Vancouver, BC
