JARDINEVILLE, NB – Noella Cormier, 81, passed away
peacefully at the Stella MarisHospital, Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Monday,
June 28, 2021. Born in St. Charles, she was the daughter of
the late Felix Robichaud and late Madeline (Doucette)
Robichaud.
Noella was an extremely charitable woman who gave countless
hours of service to her parish, CWL and foremost, to her
family. She was always one of the first to offer help
and even shelter to family in need. Noella owned and operated
her own little seasonal business for a number of years in
addition to her many years working in restaurants, hotels,
lobster shops, and home-care.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking,
gardening, working in her flowers, feeding and watching the
birds, organizing family gatherings, traveling and
playing with one of her fur-
grandbabies–“Summer”
Noella will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Rose-Marie
Cormier (Roger), of Cocagne, Monique Scarling (Eric) of St.
Charles; two sons, Donald “Donnie” Cormier, Terrance
“Terry” Cormier both of Jardineville; seven
grandchildren, Michel (Jolene), Matthieu (Lise),
Marc (Shirley), Cameron (Kelly), Adonica, Samuel, Yzabel and
five great grandchildren, Noah, Alex, Rylee, Madison and
Lukas.
She is also survived by four sisters, Geneva Chevarie (late
Ovila) of St. Louis, Bernadette Robichaud of Richibucto,
Marie-Reine Hebert (Roger) of St-Louis, Gilberte Robichaud
of Gatineau, QC; two brothers, Guy Robichaud (Simone) of
Richibouctou-Village and Ola Robichaud of Richibucto;
sisters-in-law, Emerise Robichaud of St. Charles,
Anne-Marie Robichaud of Rogersville, Louise Robichaud of
St-Louis; brothers-in-law, Franky Despres of Moncton and
special nephew, Aquila Robichaud (Denise) of Aldouane.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Emile Cormier; five sisters, Anna, Orilla, Emma, Dorice,
infant Marie and seven brothers, Emery, Gerald,
Elois, Jean-Paul, Leon, Claude and Yvon.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Friday, July 9th, 2021, from 7:00-9:00 pm
(ONLY). A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Saturday, July 10th, 2021, at 11:00 am at the
Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Rexton.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50 people at a time
will be allowed in the funeral home. Masks are mandatory and
we ask that social distancing be respected.
