Obituary
It is with profound heartbreak that we the family announce the passing of our beloved matriarch Nellie of Topsail, C.B.S. while dealing courageously with Alzheimer’s and was receiving tender loving care at Pleasantview Towers. Nellie was predeceased by her devoted husband Frederick in 2004.
Leaving to mourn are her children; Dave (Marie ), Rick , Warwick (Margaret), Walter, Gloria and Lynn (Jimmie Boland). 8 grandchildren : Angie (Dave), Nick, Adam, Andrew, Stephanie, Natasha, Emily, Kyle and 1 great grand daughter, Susan.
Sister Fran Tavener, (Late Ralph ) Corner Brook, sister-in-law’s Sandra Snow ( Mark Miltich) Michigan. U.S.A., Shirley Kearley C.B.S.
predeceased by her siblings: Harold (Lillian), Mary Gardner (George), Ralph.
Sister- in- law, Helen Snow, Lewisporte, brother- in- law, Warwick (Clara ), Bishop’s falls,
Numerous friends, nephews and nieces and a Special niece, Brenda (Tavener) Wheeler.
Visitation will take place on Thursday September 23rd, 2021 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Friday September 24th, 2021 at 10:00am from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail. Interment to follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Topsail. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or St. John the Evangelist Cemetery Fund.
