ADAMS-MOOD, Myrna Louise – age 80, of Middle West Pubnico, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 25, 2021, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Hebron, Yarmouth Co., on May 9, 1941, she was a daughter to the late Merton and Norma (Stillman) Adams. Myrna was a loving mother who cherished her family dearly. She was known to be kind, humble, and sometimes a bit eccentric at times. She was a strong, caring, and independent woman who loved everyone. Her working career consisted of Royal Bank, Metro Toronto, owned and operated The Berry Shack in Deerfield, owned and operated Fancies Rental Gown and Tux. She was also known to be a talented tailor and seamstress and a fantastic baker. In her spare time, she also loved to read, be out in nature, gardening, and knitting. Myrna had a strong faith in the Lord and attended the Yarmouth Wesleyan Church for several years. Myrna is survived by her daughter, Alana (Dennison) d’Entremont; sons, James (Nicole) Mood, Gary (Tanya) Mood, Wayne Hanf, Roger (Jean) Hanf, Bob (Robert) Hanf; brothers, Donald (Nancy) Adams, Terry (Cathy) Adams, Tony Adams, Doug (Brenda) Adams; sisters, Penny Adams-O’Rouke, Jenny Johnson; grandchildren, Jeremy, Gracie, Rebecca, Nicholas, Adam, Beverley, Wesley, Twila-Dawn, and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who Aunty M so dearly loved. Besides her parents, Myrna was predeceased by brothers, Robert and John; a brother in infancy, granddaughter, Reanne Rodgerson, and daughters, Susan and Sharon. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021, from 7-9 P.M. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel on July 28, 2021, at 2 P.M. with Rev. A.D. “Bill” Newell officiating. Interment will follow in Saint-Pierre Parish Cemetery in Middlewest Pubnico . Donations in memory be made to the Yarmouth and Pubnico Food Bank. Covid-19 restrictions will be in place and family will be given priority seating. This service will also be live-streamed via the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Website.
