After a lengthy battle, Joan passed away on Friday November 12, 2021, at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Predeceased by her husband, Michel Nantel, her father, Alexander Taylor and most recently her mother, Eileen, she leaves to mourn her brother, Robert (Mary), her daughter, Tracey (Steve) and her step-children, Aaron (Jadzia) and Maureen (Greg). Loving Nana to her grandchildren Corey (Jaime), Taylor (Josh), Adam, Julien, Emma, Michael, Andrew and Owen as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life and blue butterfly release for her friends and family will be held in May 2022.
