Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at The Village of Tansley Woods in Burlington at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Betty Brophy. Cherished father of Michael Brophy (Marilyn), Lori Brophy and Denise Smith (Craig). Mike will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends. Mike had a long and successful career working as a Foreman at Stelco. Mike enjoyed baseball, golf, curling and fishing. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Tansley Woods for their exceptional care and compassion. In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Family Service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to The Parkinson’s Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
