Melville passed away peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital on Tuesday, June 8 2021, at 99 years of age. Mel was predeceased by his loving wife Jean Wood (née McLellan) in 2005. He was the dear father of Heather Dallaire, Danny Wood and Randy Wood. Cherished grandfather of Michael and Emma Wood and great grandfather of Frederick and Owen Wood; he was the dear brother of Carmen Worrall and father-in-law to Robert Dallaire and Margaret Wood. Melville was a RCAF WWII veteran and spent his career working for Air Canada in Montreal. There will be no service or visitations at this time. In honour of Melville Wood donations can be made to the Merrickville Food Bank.
