Mary Ethel (Miller) Sage of Woodland Towers, Stratford, and formerly of Listowel, passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in her 92nd year.
Wife of the late Boyne Sage (1991). Mother of Wayne & Bonnie Sage of Bluevale, and Cathy Sage & Doug Caughill of Stratford. Grandmother of Daniel & Alex Sage of R.R. 1, Listowel, Rebecca Sage of Peterborough, Morgan Sage & Jesse Stanley of Lindsay, Candice & Lee Lannin of Atwood, and Kayla Mills & Andrew Pilon of Espanola, and great-grandmother of Wyatt, Ayden, Emytt, Meyva, Jayna, Tenly, Mackenzie, and Addison. Sister of Margaret Streeter of Listowel.
Predeceased by her parents Roy & Ethel Miller, daughters Marion Sage (2013), and Ethel Sage (2018), and siblings Doris Hymers, Dorothy Hymers, Henry Miller, and David Miller.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m, and again at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Sunday, July 25th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Please schedule a time to attend by selecting RSVP (below) or by calling 519-291-4840. Everyone attending must wear a mask.
The funeral service will be held Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Don McCallum officiating. The funeral will be live-streamed and the link available here shortly. You do not have to register to attend the funeral, but masks and social distancing are required.
Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Elma Township.
Memorial donations to Lion’s Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs, or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
