Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Twin Lakes Terrace, Mary Margaret Langis passed away at the age of 75. Beloved wife to her loving and devoted husband Rene for 54 years. Loving mother to Sherry-Lynn (Paul) Lewis and her daughter –in-law Kendra. Cherished Mémé to Sydney (Tyler), Zachary (Julia), Shayna, Harley and Wyatt. And great Mémé to Addison. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Margaret Currah and by her son Shawn. Mary was a nurse for 25 years at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She loved to sew and craft, but her greatest love of all was her family, especially her grandchildren and fur babies. Mary was a very loving and caring person who would do anything for anybody. She will be fondly remembered for her witty personality and great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Terry Fox Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
