It is with great sadness we announce that Mary Anne Theede passed away peacefully on November 17, 2021 after a sudden fall. Mary Anne was born December 21, 1953 in Central Butte, Saskatchewan. Mary Anne loved her family, friends, and the community of the Central Butte and Moose Jaw areas. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and in the 1990s took additional training as a Nurse Practitioner. She dedicated her career to looking after others, primarily working at the Central Butte Regency Hospital before retiring in 2017.
Mary Anne was blessed with the extended Theede and Pollock Families and a large network of cherished friends. Her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews all have fond memories of colourful patterned pyjamas that were instant favourites. Through her work and life, she touched many lives in the Central Butte district and was always a keen supporter and participant in community events.
Mary Anne was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Frances. A Celebration of Mary Anne’s life will be announced in the future. Donations in memory of Mary Anne may be directed to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 55 Diefenbaker Drive, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 0C2. The family would like to thank the staff at the Dr. F. H. Wigmore Regional Hospital and Regina General Hospital for their excellent care, kindness, support and compassionate professionalism.
