It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daddy, just two weeks shy of his 90th birthday. Martino is survived by his three children Nella Mason, Rosanna de Pass (Gord) and Sam Migliaccio (Amber Switzer). Martino will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Simona Mason, Branden de Pass, Alesandro de Pass, Gianluca Migliaccio and Francesco Migliaccio. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews from Canada and in Italy, along with his surviving sister Angela Migliaccio. Martino was born June 27th, 1931 in Settingiano, Calabria Italy, where he learned the master of tailoring at the young age of 10 and continued to do so throughout his life while being the go to tailor for his family and friends. The visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East Hamilton on Thursday June 10th (by invitation only). The funeral mass will be held on Saturday June 12th (by invitation only) and will take place at St. Josephs Catholic Church at 135 Livingston Ave Grimsby. Private interment will take place at Our Lady of the Angels, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation as he passed from complications due to a stroke. Special thanks go out to the numerous nurses and doctors that took care of Martino on the 7th and 8th floors of the General Hospital.
