On April 3, 2021 Reginald Stanley Martin passed from this life to the next in Edmonton at the age of 65. Born in Trail B.C. the eldest son of Edna and Stan Martin, he moved to Edmonton in his late teens to study Surveying at NAIT before embarking on a career that would span 39 years with Edmonton Power/Epcor. While in school, Reg met his soul mate and future wife. They settled in Edmonton and welcomed two beautiful children into their lives. Reg was a devoted husband and family man, kind and patient coach, generous mentor and jovial spirit who touched many lives in a meaningful way.
Reg will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Janice, his children Michael and Alaina (Jarrod Dubord); his brother Steve (Andrea) and nephew Vaughn; as well as the many friends made over his lifetime. He was predeceased by his parents.
Reg will be honored with a private service due to COVID-19 restrictions. The service will be live streamed on Facebook (Mill Woods United Church) Monday, April 12 at 7:30 pm for those who cannot attend in person.
