Born on March 21st, 1932 in Wakaw, Saskatchewan, Ernie passed from this life on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Ernie managed his illness with strength and grace. Ernie spent the early part of his life as a farmer who worked the land. Eventually the city life called and Ernie and family moved to Calgary where Ernie took up the carpentry trade. In the last chapter of his life he lived in Edmonton where he was a building maintenance manager for over 25 years. Ernie was a very social person and loved to go dancing with his very close friend Jennie.
Ernie will always be remembered as a kind soul who wanted nothing more than to take care of his family.
He is survived by Linda Markovich(daughter), Lonnie James(Son), Willie Markovich(Brother) and Joe Markovich(Brother).
Ernie was a loving, caring Father, Son, Brother and Friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
