1944-2021
Marilyn Rita McCordic, 77, of Killams
Mills, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday,
December 13, 2021 at the Moncton Hospital after a long courageous
battle with cancer. She grew up in Sus and was the daughter of the
late George and Helen (Berry) Perkins.
Marilyn loved her family and friends and
always put them first. She also enjoyed, gardening, playing cribbage,
was a member of T.O.P.S, and especially enjoyed meeting with The
Sunshine Sisters every month.
Survived and sadly missed by her
children, Bradley Ryder, Stephen Ryder (Karen) and Lloyd Arnold
McCordic (Ashley); step-children, Patricia, Elizabeth, and Connie;
siblings, Margaret, Dianne, and Geraldine; many grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was
predeceased by her brother, John Perkins.
The family wishes to extend their
sincere gratitude to Dr. Harb, Dr. Landry, and the staff of The
Moncton Hospital, Dr. Rubin Oncology Centre for the care and support
Marilyn received.
Graveside Service will be held on
Friday, December 17, 2021 at 1 pm at Steeves Settlement Cemetery with
Pastor Paul Leger officiating. Arrangements are in care of The
Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). If desired, memorials to a charity
of your choice would be appreciated.
