Obituary of Maria Kozack
Peacefully at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew on Friday evening, August 27, 2021, Maria Kozack of Arnprior passed away at the age of 89 years. Samuel “Sam”, her loving husband of almost 68 years (November 7) loyally by her side to the very end. Together, Maria and Sam raised three children: Darwin, James (Lisa) and Peggy Hurjui (Anton). She will be sadly missed by her family and friends in the Kingdom Hall that she got to know well over the years. Mary will be long remembered for her hospitality, kindness to others and for being a beautiful, spiritual “Lady”. Predeceased by her parents, Fritz and Ann Cozma; siblings, Lena, John, Nick, Peter, Daniel and Elaine. She is survived by her brother George Cozma of Regina, SK as well as her many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the dedicated staff at Bonnechere Manor for the loving care they provided Mom especially as her health deteriorated. She was always treated with kindness, dignity and compassion. Maria’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
