It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Maria at 87 years of age. Reunited with her beloved husband Giuseppe (2008). Loving mother of John (Dianne), Lucy (the late Mike) Thomas and Tony (Angela). Cherished Nonna of Meghann, Kendra, Lindsey (Paul), Mark (Casandra), Kristan, Jessica and Bis-Nonna of Elena, Maddison, Alexa, Zachary, Isabella, Matteo and Leo. Pre deceased by her dear parents Michele and Maria Grosso, her sister Elisa (Giuseppe) Tamilia, sister-in-law of Angelo-Michele (Giovannina), Guerrino (Annina), and Adamo (Concesia). Maria will be sadly missed by her extended family and dear friends.

On Friday, September 17, 2021 family and friends are invited to meet at Our Lady of Assumption Parish (63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek) after 10 a.m. for additional visitation until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
