Marguerite Labelle (Martin)
The family announces with great sorrow her death, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Ernest Labelle in 1982. Dear mother of Raymond (Donna Fraser), Michel and Jacques (late Nancy). Loving grandmother of Raymond Jr., Ghislain, Nicole, Paul, Jean, Lynn and Marc and great grandmother to many great grandchildren. She will be missed by her sons-in-law Gérard Mallette (Paule Leclerc) and Guy Séguin. Predeceased by her daughters Jacqueline Mallette and Diane Seguin, her son Maurice, her grandson Ernie, her parents Alfred and Lorette, her sisters Hélène Holopainen and Claire Hébert and her brother André Martin. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marguerite was owner of Labelle Corner Store for many years. She was also a member of the Cursillo Movement and the Porcupine Rod and Gun Club. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time at her camper on Star Lake and playing Bingo. The family wish to thank the doctors and nurses at the Timmins and District Hospital for the care she received. A scheduled visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Any person wishing to attend the visitation MUST call the funeral home between Monday, August 16, 2021 and Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 705-264-4444 during the hours of 9am and 4pm to schedule a time. Masks and social distancing measures will be required. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 10am at Notre Dame de la Paix Church. Remembrance donations to Notre Dame de la Paix Church or the Timmins and District hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
