Margareta Eckert Friday July 16th 2021

Margareta Eckert passed away peacefully in her 90th year at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by son Bob (Kathy), grandchildren Frank (Dana), Michelle and Stan, great grandchildren Josh, Ryan, Easton, Michael, daughter-in-law Joyce and her children Michelle and MaryJo. Predeceased by husband Heinz and son Frank. Margareta had a zest for life. She was generous and kind, putting the needs of others before her own. She loved travelling, going to the theatre; musicals were her favourite. She was a great cook and enjoyed hosting family dinners. Family and friends were important to her and she always made everyone feel welcome in her home. She was an energetic, dedicated, hard worker, with high standards for herself and those around her. She retired from E. C. Drury School, Milton, after 27 years of service. She also volunteered with the Milton Hospital Auxiliary. Sincerest thanks to the dedicated team at Sunnyside Home for the thoughtful and kind care provided, and making her comfortable at the end of life. In lieu of flowers,
if you wish, consider a memorial donation to the Milton Hospital Auxiliary. The family will gather for a private service.
