Mabel’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her, Mabel Sarah Hiscock in her 84th year. Mabel passed peacefully away at G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, NL on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
Predeceased by husband, William; son, Ernest; parents, Selby and Asenath Rowe; brothers, Vernon Rowe and Martin Rowe.
Left with fond and loving memories are children, Menita (Brian) Hayter, Irene (Bob) King, Shirley (Chris) Stagg, Bill (Michelle), Keith, Holly (Curtis) Phillips, and Geoffrey (Lori). Mabel leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Irma (Sterling), Marie, Willa (Calvin), Shirley (Gerald), Linda (Ira) and brother, Harry (Betty) Rowe; sisters and brothers-in law, many nephews and nieces, as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Resting at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Trinity, Trinity Bay on Monday, July 5, 2:00-5:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.
A service to celebrate Mabel’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 6 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at Trinity-Dunfield Anglican Cemetery. Covid-19 guidelines to be followed.
