Gauthier, Lorraine Marie [nee Beaulé] – The family announces with sadness the death of Mrs. Lorraine Gauthier of Earlton at the age of 86 years. Mrs. Gauthier passed away peacefully at Englehart and District Hospital on Saturday, August 7, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Gauthier was born in Laverlochère, Québec, June 1, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Alphonse Beaulé and the late Albertine Cardinal. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Fernand, her son Marcel, her brothers, Roland, Fernand, Adrien, Gilles and Roger and her sisters Lucienne, Éveline and Germaine. Also left to mourn are her loving children: Suzanne from Earlton, Jean-Guy (Linda) from New Liskeard, Sylvie (David) Griese from Latchford and Jocelyn (Eliza) from Toronto. Fondly remembered by grandchildren: Lisa, Josée, Manon, Justin, Céleste, Valérie and Jacob; twelve great-grandchildren and her siblings Yvan (Pierrette), Raoul (Huguette), Conrad and Thérèse (Denis Sabourin), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Mrs. Gauthier spent most of her life supporting her husband to successfully operate a dairy farm. She loved to cook, sew and take care of her five children. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Jean Baptiste Church in Earlton, Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at the Armstrong Township Cemetery. The Gauthier family will welcome family and friends at the Church at 10:30 am. Because of Covid restrictions, the capacity of the church is set at 100 persons with mask.
