Peacefully at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, Lorne Robert Orr of London and formerly of Westminster Township at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband for 67 years of Irene Orr. Loving father of Tom and Kathy Orr, Karen Chapman, Peter and Dale Orr and Andrew and the late Jodi Orr (2018).Proud grandpa of Bryan and Corry Blackall, Jason and Stephanie Orr, Bruce Blackall, Ross Blackall, Jacob and Jennie Orr, Peter John Chapman, Natalie and Ben Baker, Logan Orr, Thomasina Orr, Shona and Mike Archambault, Stephanie and John Bjerke, Dalton Orr, Matthew Orr and great-grandpa of Mason, Ryan, Gaby, Cole, Kira, Tyson, Audrey, Chase, Nolan, Hudson, Ethan, Lucas, Jovanna, Ava, Maxwell, Kai, Lane, Van, Knox, Rago and Andi Mae. Dear brother of Helen White.
A drive-thru visitation celebrating Lorne’s life will be held where Lorne loved best at the family farm, 6398 Orr Drive, London, Ont. on Monday, June 7, 2021from 2 – 6 pm. How fitting it is to celebrate Lorne’s life on the very location he was born 88 years ago. Lorne is a pioneer with this drive-thru visitation as we have never done this before. McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, Lambeth in care of arrangements. Any questions, please call 519-652-2020. Please keep in mind that no one is allowed to exit their vehicle.
