It is with great sadness that the family of Liliane Surkis announces her passing on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at her residence in Bathurst, NB, at the age of eighty-six. Devoted wife of the late Jean Pierre “JP” Surkis. Born in Paris, France, she was the daughter of the late Solomon Malin and the late Sylvia (Chaluta) Malin. Lillian leaves behind her loving children, Hymie Surkis (Diane Holt) of Bathurst and Murielle Surkis of Montreal; her treasured grandchildren, Aaron Surkis (Celine) of Toronto, Sabra Surkis (Kelly Sturgess) of Fredericton; and dear great-grandchildren, Marlo and Noah. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses. Lillian was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
