Leonard James Woods
1937-2021
Leonard James Woods of Brockway, NB, husband of Barbara L. (Ward)
Woods, passed away November 23, 2021 at Hospice Fredericton. Leonard
was born in South London, UK in 1937, a son of the late James and
Winnifred (Clarke) Woods. He served for thirteen years with the Royal
Canadian Navy and then was employed in accounting with the Federal
Government and the New Brunswick Provincial Government. Leonard was a
member of the Harvey Volunteer Fire Department for over twenty five
years.
In addition to his wife of sixty three years, he is survived by sons
Jim (Diane) of Yukon and John (Mirian) of Panama; grandchildren,
Allan, Troy, Barbara and Mariana; his sisters, Ann Hiltz (Ivan) and
Mary Redden (Ken); sisters-in-law, Betty Wilson and Beverly Ritchie
and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A
memorial service will be held later.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Leonard, the family
has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society.
