The death occurred at Community Hospital, O’Leary,
Palliative Care Unit, on Sunday July 4th, 2021 of Leigh Thomas
Griffin, of Cape Wolfe, aged 85 years, beloved husband of the late
Elsie. Born in Brockton on April 4, 1936 son of the late Thomas and
Mary(O’Connor) Griffin.
Loving Dad to Betty Griffin (Deborah), Cape Wolfe; Wayne and
Michael, both of Hamilton On. Dear Papa to Brent, Kyle, Michael,
Brittany and great Papa to Jaelynn.
Brother to Clarence (Wilma) Griffin, Brockton; Marie
(Clarence) Keefe, Tignish; Rosalie McCarthy, Hamilton, On; Noreen
Jeffery, Summerside; brother in law of Ferdie Clements, Roseville;
Barry O’Halloran, Summerside; Norma Mill, Hamilton; Vera
(Jim) Clements, Campbellton and Carol (Steve) Clements,
Howlan.
Predeceased by his parents, wife Elsie in 2019, sons Tom and
Dale, brothers Wilfred and Emmett, sister Doris, and brothers in law
Howard, Francis and Alfred.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary. Private family visitation and funeral on Thursday.
Interment in St. Mark’s RC Cemetery, Burton, Lot
