Obituary of Leanne Dawn Swidzinski
1971 – 2021
It is with great shock and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of the best sister and aunt anyone could ask for – Leanne Swidzinski. She passed away on Oct 26, 2021, at Royal University Hospital – just 8 days shy of her 50th birthday. Born on Nov. 3, 1971, Leanne was raised with her siblings on the family farm north of Prudhomme, and she spent her adult life in Saskatoon. She loved to spend time with her family and friends – always willing to give a hand when needed. One could find her at home, reading a good book while having some coffee or chewing on some ice. After her parents (Mike & Darlene) passed, Leanne became the heart of the family. Leanne’s place was always the place where the family got together to celebrate the good times, and to get through the rough times. Leanne will be dearly missed by her sisters, Brenda and Joelyne (Trevor Green); brother, Doug; niece, Sierra; and nephews Mike, Odin and Lucas. A celebration of Leanne’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Inclusion Saskatchewan, 3031 Louise Street, Saskatoon, SK, S7J 3L1.
