She was predeceased by: Great Grandparents Monty & Joyce Simpson, Ted Cleaver, Great Great Grandparents Joe Ames, Clarence Keewatincappo & Lorraine Beaulieu & Great Aunt Joan Irwin.
Leah was born in Portage la Prairie on April 15th, 2009 and attended La Verendrye school.
As the oldest she took great care of her younger siblings, always trying to put a smile on their faces, telling jokes and sending them funny pictures. She would take them to the nearest store for candy. To Tara she was the best secret keeper ever.
Leah loved to be outdoors Hunting, Fishing, Quadding and going camping with Aunty Stacy, Grandma Jackie, her siblings and DJ. She loved sitting in the yard watching birds and hoping they would stop to eat out of her hand. She loved music, dancing and Karaoke.
Leah was best known for her love of food, always waiting for her next meal just like her mom. From the simplest to the most elaborate and anything in between. It started with deer soup as a baby and grew from there.
Leah loved watching movies, playing video games and Roblox. She recently had fallen in love with Harry Potter with Ravenclaw being her favorite house which is known for their Wisdom, Cleverness and Wit. There was no doubt in our minds she was going to learn to cast spells!
Ravenclaw Quote: “The Things We lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect”
She made a huge impact in the short amount of time here with us, she will be forever missed. Fly high Baby!
