It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Brenda Marie Lawrence (nee Kelly) on Tuesday, Oct 26th, 2021 with her family by her side.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Phil and she was a loving mother to her two sons Jeffrey, Kevin, and her special girls Fiona and granddaughter Abby as well as her sisters and brothers who she loved so much. Karen (Robert) Donna (Jorge) brothers, Gary (Brenda) Kenny (Michelle) Wayne (Gay), Brother in Law Bruce (Lina), and Herby. Brenda was predeceased by both her parents Arthur and Patricia Kelly, her sister Patsy-Jean Pozzebon and brother Ronnie Kelly. Brenda will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews who all held a very special place in her heart. Jamie, Kristy, Mark, Kennalee, Kelsey, Todd, Travis, Trevor, Ron Jr., Aaron, Eric, Shannon, Vanessa, Cody, Brad, Jennifer, Kristien, Stephanie, Ryan, and Karli.
Brenda was born in Sault St. Marie on July 20th, 1955, and later moved to Kirkland Lake where she began her career at The Kirkland & District Hospital working in numerous departments over the years. Brenda was a beautiful soul and was loved by all who had the pleasure of crossing her path. Brenda treasured all her time spent with her family and friends and will be terribly missed by her dear friends Gabby Schapiro, Becky Perrier, Ann Denton & Bev Hachey.
The family would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses, PSW’s, Physio and Respiratory staff at Blanche River Health for all their support, care, and compassion.
As per Brenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2022.
