Obituary
On Tuesday, September 7, 2021 Laurie Lepper Pettigrew of Vermilion, Alberta formerly of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away at the age of 94 years.
Laurie is lovingly survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruth Pettigrew of Vermilion, AB; daughter-in-law: Marj Pettigrew (Bernie) of Kitscoty, AB; three grandchildren: Jennifer Pettigrew (Garth) of Outlook, SK, Jason (Christina) Pettigrew of Stony Plain, AB, Danny Pettigrew (Calista) of Kitscoty, AB; nine great grandchildren: Jenessa (Dawson), Amberlee, Breanna, Ethan, Evan, Wyatt, Liam, Thorsdon, Jack; great great granddaughter: Rhylee; two brothers: Harry (Myrtle) Pettigrew of Surrey, BC, Aubrey (Shirley) Pettigrew of Dartmouth, NS; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Laurie was predeceased by his son: Laurie “Sandy”; brother: Earl Pettigrew; sister: Helen Winters; brother-in-law: Jack Winters.
Service of Remembrance, Monday, September 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., First United Church, Vermilion, Alberta with Reverend Stephen Sparks officiating. Final Resting Place, Vermilion Public Cemetery, Vermilion, Alberta.
