Obituary of Kenneth Walter Diebel
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kenneth Walter Diebel, peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Lion’s Head Thursday November 4, 2021. Ken Deibel of Pike Bay in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Knipe) for 72 years. Cherished father of Sandy Diebel-Schout of New Hamburg, Cathy (Dan) Legault of Milverton and Pat (Mark) Langenegger of New Hamburg. Much loved grandfather of Andrew (Jamie), Casey, Nick (Kelly), Cory and Michelle and great grandfather of Matteo and Noelle. Predeceased by parents Selma (nee Kaufman) and Walter Diebel and brother-in-law Keith ‘Bud’ (Marie) Knipe.
Family and friends may call at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 202 will conduct a Legion Service at 1:45 p.m.
All those wishing to attend must RSVP through the Service Information tab. Masks must be worn and social distancing must be respected.
A private family funeral will be conducted. A public celebration of life will follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of remembrance to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #202 would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
