December 16, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye to our precious angel, Karen Hayward who passed peacefully away at the Bonavista Hospital on December 16.
Karen is predeceased by her father, Watson Hayward.
Leaving to mourn: her beautiful daughter, Anna; her mother, Shirley; her brothers Brian and Kevin (Jeanette) and her nephew Daniel and niece Brianna; as well as a large extended family and friends.
Karen was born on September 12, 1971. She lived in Elliston with her daughter, Anna and mom, Shirley. The love of her life was Anna and she was her world. Karen was a very caring, kind and giving person who had a large number of friends. She was always there to help others in any way she could. Whenever Karen met you, there was a beautiful smile and a big hello. Her passing has left a huge void in her family which can never be replaced.
Visitation is at Strathie’s Funeral Home on Friday, December 17 from 8-9 p.m. and Saturday, December 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held at the Elliston United Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 19.
