JURJUS, Johan Henny
July 8, 1941 — August 10, 2021
Johan suddenly and unexpectedly passed in his sleep at the age of 80.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Rietje ; sister Rita (Paul) Evertse of Belgium and family; and sister-in-law Maria of Alberta and family. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Hans and his furbaby Jutah the German Shepherd.
Kind and generous, Johan always loved spending time in the sunshine. He loved how it invigorated him. One of the places he enjoyed most was his own balcony where he would frequent his time. Johan enjoyed playing guitar and recording his own music. He did everything for his sister Rita; they had a special bond.
Johan will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
There will be a Memorial Service to honour Johan; due to the current pandemic restrictions, it will be by invitation only. The family would like to invite all who want to pay their respects to join online by Livestream on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 18, 2021, AT 1:00 PM (see below). A recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter.
