Obituary of June MacIsaac
June MacIsaac, 88, of Dunmore, N.S., passed away peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2021 at her home. Born in Welland, Ontario, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Iva (Berg) Young.
June was a strong, passionate woman who was active in her community and volunteer groups. The things she cared most about were her relationship with God, her husband Ron and her family.
Surviving are daughters Debbie (Dan), Joanne (Jody) Cleary, Colleen (Mark) Flanders, Donna (Eugene) Teasdale, Thalia (Kipling Morrison), sons Colin (Marie), Boyd (Theresa), Mark (Laura), Donnie (Mairi), Stephen (Todd Brower), 23 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brother Robert, sister Norma McGlashen and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ron, infant daughter Cindy, brother Allan and sister Colleen.
There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, July 30, 2021 in St. Andrew’s Church, St. Andrews, Rev. Andrew Gillies presiding. COVID-19 protocols will be in place – limited seating available. Burial in the South River Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Martha’s Hospital Foundation. www.MacIsaacs.ca
