In loving memory of Jules Boisvert 89 years who passed away at Health Sciences North on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021. He will be sadly missed by his much-loved partner of 26 years of Ruth Swyer. He had 3 sons John predeceased, William, and Rene. Jules was born and raised in Lassar, Quebec. He is predeceased by his parents Fernando and Rose Anna Boisvert. Survived by his siblings, Andre, Jacqueline, and Estelle. Predeceased by Jacques, Amie, Rolland, Armand, Mariette, and Carmen. He will be missed by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jules worked at INCO for 25 years, he was a scoop tramp operator at Little Stobie Mine, until he retired in 1994. He was a kind man and would have given the shirt off his back to help anyone. He loved to play his guitar and sing. He always loved going on a little vacation, whether it was going to Quebec to see family or on a long drive to Newfoundland. Jules will certainly be missed by a lot of friends, here and in Newfoundland.
A funeral service will be held in the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 at 11:30 am. Friends may gather after 10:30 am on Wednesday. Masks are mandatory. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
