It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judite Carvalho on July 25, 2021 at the age of 70. Judite died of natural causes. She was the beloved daughter of Manuel & Joaquina Carvalho, much loved sister to Aurea Fernandes (brother-in-law, Antonio), Hortelinda Domingues (brother-in-law, Jose), Maria-Alice Bustos (brother-in law, Pablo), Fernando Carvalho (sister-in-law, Marleen ), Alda Marinho (brother-in law, Joaquin Marinho) Auguste Carvalho (sisiter-in law, Myra) Francois Carvalho (sister-in-law, Wilma) Juliette Peacock (brother-in-law Greg). Judite comes from a large Portugues family, she is one of 9 children. She has 5 sisters and 3 brothers. She has several nieces, nephews, including great-nieces and great-nephews.
Although Judite was born with physical and mental challenges, she managed to keep a cheerful and positive attitude throughout her life. She enjoyed simple pleasures like her favourite doll or picture book. She had an infectious laugh that filled the room when someone or something amused her. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May God Bless Judite.
Due to COVID, a private funeral will be held on for the family only on Wednesday July 28, 2021.
